One of the rarest and most beautiful of all the Star Wars saga posters, this is the so-called "Gone With The Wind" style UK quad for the first release of The Empire Strikes Back in 1980, featuring artwork by Roger Kastel. Famously withdrawn because it omitted key characters, this version of the poster was only used for the premiere in London's West End which meant that it appeared in a handful of cinemas and central London Underground stations. Almost all of those still existing are trimmed undersize (39" x 26.5") for use on London Underground, with the few untrimmed copies to have surfaced retailing for up to £10,000. This is one of the trimmed copies, folded in excellent condition. Can be linen-backed upon request.
