Original Paramount Pictures Italian 4 foglio poster with superb art by Italian renowned poster illustrator Ericole Brini famous for his use of water-colours. This charming film was the first appearance by Audrey Hepburn in a Hollywood film, portraying a bored and sheltered princess who escapes her guardians and falls in love with an American newsman (Gregory Peck) in Rome. The cinematography is glorious with Rome as the background, and Georges Auric's great score compliments the story's inherent lyricism. The film was nominated for ten Academy Awards-- including Best Supporting Actor for Albert, Best Director for Wyler, and Best Picture. The film won three Oscars, including Best Actress to Hepburn. This large poster was used in a cinema in Italy.
