Folded (as issued) this original unrestored UK quad film poster is from first year of release in Britain…One of the best posters from the war genre…This is a true first printing poster from this popular title; full bleed artwork to the edges (no border or white spaces) with superb deep unfaded colours. A magnificent poster and a very rare find in this high grade condition that represents a very collectable and desirable example of original film memorabilia.
Trivia: The movie was mainly filmed in Yugoslavia because the Yugoslavian army still had a large quantity of Sherman tanks in 1970.
Classic ensemble gold heist movie set in the second world war. The UK quad has the best artwork of any country. This is from the first release in 1970. This poster is the full bleed artwork. There is also another style which has a white edge at the top of the poster, this was for cinema's to write the date and times of the showing. The full bleed is much more scarce.
