For his very first film poster commission, artist Robert McGinnis (known for Thunderball, Barbarella, etc., and a veteran of over 1200 paperback covers) delivered this splendid and now indelible image of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly coyly posing in her iconic Givenchy gown. Hepburn shines as the emotionally fragile Golightly, who doesn't know what she wants from life. Based on the novella by Truman Capote, this loose adaptation is the perfect blend of romance, intelligence, humour, and sophistication, all directed by Blake Edwards and set against the backdrop of 1960s New York.

This rare US poster has the iconic artwork for Audrey Hepburn’s most popular film! It is probably still the silver screen's most copied look, from the black crepe gown, to the massive pearl necklace cascading down Hepburn's back, to the diamond jewellery used as a hair ornament.
