Original 1975 re-release British Quad poster for The Jungle Book, Walt Disney’s final personally supervised animated feature. This exuberant, vividly illustrated design often considered the best poster ever produced for the film captures the film’s joyous energy, with Baloo, King Louie, Bagheera, Mowgli, and the rest of the jungle characters dancing in full Technicolor rhythm.
The Jungle Book remains one of Disney’s most celebrated and enduring classics. Its infectious soundtrack, featuring “The Bare Necessities” and “I Wan’na Be Like You,” helped define the studio’s golden age of animation. The film’s warmth, humor, and hand-drawn artistry made it an instant family favorite, and it holds particular cultural weight as the last animated feature Walt Disney personally oversaw before his death in 1966.
This ultra-charming artwork was ONLY used for the 1975 re-release of the film. Also, an identical poster achieved £16,250 at a London Auction - March 2019, admittedly, a bit high!
