Thunderball (1965)
Original One Panel (47 X 63 Inches)
£3,650.00
The jetpack in Thunderball's opening was no special effect. It was a real Bell Rocket Belt, developed for the US military, and it was so deafening that the film replaced its roar with the hiss of a fire extinguisher. It has been a Bond legend ever since.
Robert McGinnis, the artist most closely tied to the Bond look of the 1960s and 1970s, supplied the artwork for this first-release French Grande. Linen-backed, it is a highly desirable slice of Bondmania in the grand French format.
