A View To A Kill (1985)
Original One Sheet (27 X 41 Inches)
£275.00
No James Bond theme has ever matched this one on the American charts. Duran Duran's title song went to number one on the Billboard Hot 100, the only 007 theme to do so, and the story goes that bassist John Taylor landed the job by approaching producer Cubby Broccoli at a party. Christopher Walken, already an Academy Award winner for The Deer Hunter, played the psychotic industrialist Max Zorin, with Grace Jones at his side as the formidable May Day.
This US One Sheet carries the painted campaign for Roger Moore's last outing as Bond. The artwork is by Daniel Goozee, whose paintings gave the series some of its most polished advertising of the 1980s. Folded, as One Sheets of the period were sent to cinemas.
