Thunderball (1999R)

Thunderball brought back the Aston Martin DB5 that had made such a sensation in Goldfinger, and Aston Martin was quick to take advantage. In 1965 the company released this tie-in advertisement for its dealer showrooms, a charming piece of cross-promotion between Britain's most famous car and its most famous spy.

Originals are rare, and in 1999 a small official reprint of 400 was produced. This is one of that numbered limited edition, printed to approximately the same size as the original and identifiable by the unique edition number each one carries. A lovely item for anyone who collects at the point where Bond and motoring meet.
