Deep Throat (1972)
A bold and highly collectible original poster for the groundbreaking adult film Deep Throat, starring Linda Lovelace. Released in 1972, the film became a countercultural lightning rod, ushering in the so-called “Golden Age of Porn” and sparking debates around censorship, feminism, and sexual liberation.
This version of the poster features a striking minimalist line drawing of Lovelace, dressed as a nurse, in black and white with vivid red typography. The artwork is signed “Chuck 1973,” offering a rare graphic interpretation of one of cinema’s most infamous titles.
Called "porno chic" by the New York Times, Deep Throat made a huge star out of Linda Lovelace, and the film received so much mainstream attention that it soon became an adult film classic. The movie also starred Harry Reems, Dolly Sharp, Bill Harrison, William Love, Carol Connors, Bob Phillips, and Ted Street and was directed by Gerard Damiano. This rarely seen Style B one sheet has a completely different design than the other style, and will definitely be in high demand by collectors.
