From Russia With Love (1964)
Original One Sheet (27 X 41 Inches)
£2,075.00
Rosa Klebb, the poison-tipped shoe and all, was played by Lotte Lenya, the widow of composer Kurt Weill and a Tony Award winner for The Threepenny Opera. It is one of the great pieces of casting in the series: a Berlin stage legend, cast against every expectation, and among the most chilling villains Bond ever faced.
This US One Sheet was issued for the American release of the second Bond film, with the series already declaring that "James Bond is back". Linen-backed, it comes from the campaign that turned a surprise success into a lasting phenomenon.
