Sean Connery came back to Bond for Diamonds Are Forever on a then record fee of $1.25 million, and promptly gave it away to found the Scottish International Education Trust. Guy Hamilton, who had directed Goldfinger, returned to the series, and so did Shirley Bassey with another knockout title song.
It was Connery's final Bond film for Eon, and this linen-backed US One Sheet marks the handover from the 1960s to a brighter, more glittering 1970s, with Las Vegas supplying much of the sparkle.
