A Day at the Races (1937), released in France as Un jour aux Courses, is the second film the Marx Brothers made for MGM following the massive success of A Night at the Opera. Directed by Sam Wood, the story follows Hugo Z. Hackenbush (Groucho), a veterinarian posing as a human doctor to help a sanitarium owner and a horse owner win a big race.
The film is celebrated for its high-energy musical numbers and classic comedy bits, including the famous "Tutsi-Frutsi Ice Cream" scene.
