A Fistful of Dollars / Pour Une Poignee De Dollars (1966)
Original French Grande (47 X 63 Inches)
£2,100.00
A spectacular original French Grande for Sergio Leone’s A Fistful of Dollars, featuring Clint Eastwood as the legendary “Man with No Name.” Vanni Tealdi’s bold artwork combines Eastwood’s gun, boots and unmistakable Western silhouette, creating a wonderfully imposing piece of 1960s cinema art.
The film that launched Leone’s celebrated Dollars Trilogy, A Fistful of Dollars transformed the Western and made Eastwood an international star. Released in France in 1966, the poster even credits Leone under his Americanised pseudonym “Bob Robertson,” used for the film’s early international marketing. A superb original poster for one of the most influential Westerns ever made.
