Back To The Future (1985)

An original 1985 Universal City Studios Black and White Publicity Still #2171-12, unframed.

Director Robert Zemeckis, who wrote the film with his partner Bob Gale.

The script was turned down more than 40 times. Most studios thought it too gentle, while Disney balked at a mother falling for her own son. Only after Zemeckis scored a hit with Romancing the Stone did the project finally move, with Steven Spielberg as executive producer.
