Charade (1963)

Original British Quad (30 X 40 Inches)
£1,395.00

Charade is the best Hitchcock film that Hitchcock never made, and it fell into the public domain by accident. Universal printed the opening credits without a proper copyright notice, so this polished Stanley Donen thriller, with its Henry Mancini score and Paris locations, has been free for anyone to show ever since.

The British Quad was the standard format for UK cinemas, and this one gives Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn equal billing, with Walter Matthau and James Coburn in support. A particularly stylish and sophisticated piece of 1960s British poster design, folded.
