When the Dr. No crew arrived in Jamaica in 1962, they turned to a young local named Chris Blackwell to help with locations and music. He would go on to found Island Records and bring Bob Marley to the world, and the film's Jamaican setting remains one of its great pleasures.

Italian audiences knew the film as Agente 007 Licenza di Uccidere. This 1970s re-release Italian 2 Foglio pairs Connery with Ursula Andress as Honey Ryder, in her white bikini. Folded as issued, it is a stylish memento from a decade when Bond was already a global icon.
