Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986)
Photo Still (8 X 10 Inches)
£45.00
An original 1986 Paramount Pictures Black and White Publicity Still #FB-5081-32, unframed, with the original Paramount press snipe on the reverse.
Jeffrey Jones as Ed Rooney, the high school principal who makes it his life's mission to catch Ferris out. The studio caption calls him "the hapless high school principal driven to the edge of hysteria".
John Hughes reportedly wrote the script in under a week, and Rooney's doomed pursuit, from a muddy garden to a very unfriendly family dog, became one of the great comic set pieces of the decade.
