From Russia With Love (1964)
Original One Sheet (27 X 41 Inches)
£1,350.00
The titles of From Russia With Love were the work of designer Robert Brownjohn, who projected the credits directly onto the moving body of a belly dancer. Nothing like it had been seen in a Bond film, and it began the tradition of title sequences as a small art form in their own right, one the series has honoured ever since.
This is the classic Style A Advance US One Sheet, issued to build anticipation for the second Bond film. Folded as issued, it is a sharp and early example of how Bond was sold to America.
