Jaws (1975)
Photo Still (8 X 10 Inches)
£375.00
Original Universal Studios theatrical still #2074-22.
Ominously frames Robert Shaw’s shark hunter, Quint, through the massive jaws of a previous catch.
Culturally, this visual foreshadowing perfectly establishes the Ahab-like obsession of the veteran fisherman serving as the town's last hope in Steven Spielberg’s definitive 1975 blockbuster, Jaws. The physical artifact is authenticated by its reverse-side typed studio snipe, "movie news" stamp, and a handwritten September 1975 editor's date, proving its active circulation during the film's historic original run.
