Moonraker (1979)

Original first release 1979 rolled Int'l One Sheet movie poster, "Blasting Off In June" style, printed in the US for English speaking countries abroad. The International poster has no Ratings Box as would be on US Domestic posters.

Moonraker was the 11th film in the series and the fourth starring Roger Moore, Ian Fleming's original novel (written in 1955) had become too dated to translate to the screen, the producers decided to capitalise on the sci-fi craze started by Star Wars (1977), and so created a spectacular space-age adventure where James Bond himself journeys into outer space. Oscar nominated for effects and with a great cast, it has more comedy moments than any other of the Bond films but carried them off well.
