Moonraker (1979)
Photo Still (8 X 10 Inches)
£125.00
An original 1979 United Artists Publicity Still #M-INT 104, unframed.
Roger Moore relaxing on the set of Moonraker, safari jacket on, cigar in hand, framed by jungle foliage. The studio caption in the lower margin notes that this was his fourth outing as Ian Fleming's James Bond, agent 007.
Moonraker sent Bond into orbit in the wake of Star Wars and stayed the highest-grossing Bond film until GoldenEye in 1995. This is Moore at his most effortless: the raised eyebrow, the easy charm, the sense that saving the world is all in a day's work.
