A charming still featuring Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) and Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew) warning C-3PO (Anthony Daniels) to stay quiet during the Rebel raid on the Imperial bunker on Endor in RETURN OF THE JEDI. Issued by the studio in 1983 for cinema publicity and press use, original stills such as this were produced in relatively limited quantities and are increasingly collectible today.
The Endor sequences introduced audiences to the Ewoks and provided some of the most memorable character interactions of the original STAR WARS trilogy, balancing action, humour and adventure. The chemistry between these beloved characters helped cement RETURN OF THE JEDI as one of the defining blockbusters of the 1980s.
