Star Wars (1982R)
Japanese B2 (20 X 29 Inches)
£595.00
The sound of a lightsaber began as an accident. Sound designer Ben Burtt recorded the hum of an old film projector, then added the buzz picked up when a microphone cable passed close to a television set. Waving a microphone in front of a speaker gave him the rise and fall of every duel in the saga.
This Japanese B2 comes from the 1982 re-release, when Star Wars returned to Japanese cinemas. Unfolded, and an attractive partner to the country's original posters.
