The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976)
A wonderfully fun original 1976 US Insert for Blake Edwards’ The Pink Panther Strikes Again, starring Peter Sellers as the brilliantly incompetent Inspector Clouseau. Tony White’s artwork features the famous animated Pink Panther towering over Clouseau, accompanied by the playful tagline “The newest, pinkest Panther of all!”
The fifth film in the Pink Panther series, the film reunited Sellers with Herbert Lom as the increasingly unhinged Chief Inspector Dreyfus, with Henry Mancini returning to provide the music. The Pink Panther became one of the most recognisable characters of 20th-century film and animation, while Sellers’ Clouseau remains one of his most celebrated comic creations. A terrific original 1970s poster combining Peter Sellers, Inspector Clouseau and the iconic Pink Panther.
