Thunderball (1965)
Original US One Sheet (27 X 41 Inches)
£3,550.00
The jetpack in Thunderball's opening sequence was no trick of the effects department. It was a genuine Bell Rocket Belt, one of very few in existence, and it was flown by a professional pilot standing in for Sean Connery. Each flight lasted only about twenty seconds, which was all the fuel allowed.
Illustrated by Robert McGinnis and Frank McCarthy, this US One Sheet is the rarer and more valuable version of the design, with Bond's jetpack coming out of the frame. A small printing difference, and exactly the kind that collectors look for. Folded as issued.
