This British quad for Invasion of The Saucer Men, (mis titled on the poster as Invasion of The Hell Creatures), epitomizes 1950's monster B-movie poster design. Allegedly, the poster's illustrator Albert Kallis was asked to draw the poster before production of the film, taking inspiration from the name alone. As such Kallis' illustration is an unrestrained and wild. Not only do we have the archetypal green aliens, we are also promised to crawling severed hands and creatures from hell. Being such a quintessential specimen for 50's monster movie design, posters for Invasion of The Saucer Men have historically been sold for incredibly high prices (the original painted artwork was sold for a whopping $107,550 at auction). This quad is a steal for such an exceptional piece of movie poster art.
