You Only Live Twice (1967)
Subway Poster (45 X 59 Inches)
£3,500.00
The hollow volcano in You Only Live Twice is often called the greatest set Ken Adam ever built. Raised on the Pinewood backlot, it had a working monorail and a heliport, and it cost around a million dollars, roughly the entire budget of Dr. No five years earlier. Bond villains have been trying to match it ever since.
US Subway Posters were made for station walls, and unfolded examples from the 1960s are rare indeed. At 45 x 59 inches, it is a format most Bond collections never manage to include.
