Roman Holiday (1960R)

Audrey Hepburn won Roman Holiday by accident of a sort. At her screen test in London the camera was left running after the director called cut, capturing the relaxed, laughing young woman William Wyler had been looking for. The film earned her the Academy Award for Best Actress.

This US One Sheet comes from the 1960 re-release and, unusually, it is unfolded. Few One Sheets of the period escaped the folding machine, which makes this a rare survivor in a format that collectors of the title pursue keenly.
