Despite the schlock-horror title, this is a well made, thought provoking Sci-fi film. A young bride discovers that her husband is not the man she fell in love with, but a hideous alien in a specially constructed shell. This is a rare UK quad with the same iconic design as the 1958 first release US posters. Experts cannot agree whether this poster is a very early print run from the first release or from an early re-release in the UK. Marge (Gloria Talbott) is worried about her husband, Bill (Tom Tryon). Ever since they got married, he has acted oddly, almost without emotion. When he leaves to go for a walk one night, Marge follows him and discovers that the man she married isn't a man at all, but an alien replacement of her love. Not only that, most of the men in her small town have been replaced by aliens as well, and they're marrying the women of the town in hopes of using them to repopulate their species.
