Godfather Part II, The (1974)

An original 1974 US Three Sheet, folded as issued.

If The Godfather was about a family's rise, Part II is about what that power costs. Its portrait of Michael Corleone, alone at the top and losing everyone he loves, is one of the darkest and most celebrated in American cinema, and it made the film the first sequel ever to win Best Picture.

The Three Sheet was the biggest poster of the US campaign, made for cinema fronts and outdoor display. Printed in much smaller numbers than One Sheets and almost never kept once the film moved on, original examples are a rare find today.

At almost seven feet tall, the campaign's lone silhouette of Michael becomes genuinely imposing. A dramatic statement piece for a large wall.
