Star Wars 10th Anniversary
Original One Sheet (27 X 40 Inches)
£595.00
In May 1977 George Lucas was so convinced his film would flop that he left for Hawaii with Steven Spielberg. On that holiday, as the first reports of queues came in, the two friends swapped a share of the profits from Star Wars and Close Encounters of the Third Kind, a bet that served Spielberg very well indeed.
This Star Wars: The First Ten Years poster marks the decade from May 25th 1977 to 1987. A non-studio silver mylar edition, licensed and copyrighted by Lucasfilm Ltd and produced by Kilian Enterprises, it was issued as a limited edition of just 500, and is unfolded.
