Breakfast At Tiffany's (1961)
An exceptionally rare and breathtaking original Italian 4 Foglio featuring magnificent artwork by celebrated Italian poster artist Ercole Brini. His exquisite full-length portrait of Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly, wearing her iconic Givenchy black dress, oversized hat and elegant gloves, is a masterpiece of 1960s cinema poster design. Brini’s distinctive illustration captures Hepburn’s beauty, sophistication and effortless style, making this one of the most beautiful and desirable posters ever produced for the film.
Directed by Blake Edwards and based on Truman Capote’s novella, Breakfast at Tiffany’s transformed Audrey Hepburn into an enduring fashion and cultural icon. Her portrayal of the charming, unconventional New York socialite Holly Golightly remains one of cinema’s most recognisable performances. The film received five Academy Award nominations and won two Oscars, including Best Original Song for “Moon River”, composed by Henry Mancini with lyrics by Johnny Mercer.
This monumental Italian poster is exceptionally scarce. Originally printed in two sheets and intended for display on outdoor cinema billboards, very few examples survived, making it one of the great rarities of Audrey Hepburn poster collecting. At nearly two metres tall, it is not simply a film poster but an extraordinary work of Italian graphic art — celebrating one of Hollywood’s greatest stars in arguably her most iconic role.
