Breakfast at Tiffany’s became a classic by wrapping a slightly sad, slightly messy love story in a really stylish package. It made loneliness look glamorous, romance feel complicated, and helped set the tone for a more modern kind of rom-com where feelings don’t always come neatly tied up.

This still catches Holly and Paul in a rare quiet moment, curled up in bed after all the jokes and flirting drop away. It is one of those scenes where you can tell both of them are starting to want something real, even if they won’t say it out loud yet.
