Dr. No (1962)
Original German Poster (23 X 33 Inches)
£1,500.00
Before Joseph Wiseman was cast as Dr. No, Ian Fleming offered the part to his neighbour in Jamaica, Noël Coward. The reply came by telegram and has become a Bond legend: "Dr No? No! No! No!" Wiseman's cool, metal-handed villain went on to set the template for every Bond mastermind that followed.
German audiences met 007 in James Bond jagt Dr. No. This original German poster dates from the very start of the series, before the look of Bond marketing had settled, and that makes it a fascinating variant for the international collector. It comes folded.
