Get Carter (1971)
Photo Still (8 X 10 Inches)
£145.00
Original 1971 MGM black and white theatrical still #GC-47.
Capturing Michael Caine as the ruthless London enforcer Jack Carter, coldly pressing a double barrelled shotgun under a rival's chin in a tense, brick walled confrontation.
Culturally, Mike Hodges' brutal revenge thriller marked a massive, gritty turning point for British cinema, aggressively stripping away the glamorous caper aesthetic of the 1960s to deliver one of the screen's most bleak, unsentimental, and influential depictions of the criminal underworld.
