Godfather, The (1972) - FRAMED

An original 1972 Paramount Pictures US colour Front of House Card, framed with anti-UV glass.

James Caan, Marlon Brando, Al Pacino and John Cazale as Sonny, Vito, Michael and Fredo Corleone, gathered for the family photograph at Connie's wedding.

Michael's Marine uniform sets him apart from his dinner-jacketed brothers, the war hero who has sworn he will never join the family business. Cazale made only five feature films before his death in 1978, and every one was nominated for Best Picture, a record no other actor can claim. Cards like this hung in a cinema foyer for a few weeks, and exist today only because someone chose to keep them.
