Goldfinger (1964) - FRAMED

An original 1964 United Artists Keynote Photographic Production Still #G-22, framed.

Sean Connery as James Bond and Gert Fröbe as Auric Goldfinger during the legendary golf match, shot at Stoke Poges Golf Club.

Connery took up golf to prepare for this scene and went on to become devoted to the game for the rest of his life. Fröbe, for his part, spoke so little English that his voice was dubbed throughout. Directed by Guy Hamilton, Goldfinger was the film that set the Bond formula in place.
