For this 1954 reissue of the classic film the studio once again chose master artist Roger Soubie to create romantic imagery for the poster campaign. This was the film's second reissue (the first being in 1947) and it would go on to several more releases and also become one of the most successful films in the history of the cinema. On this style, Soubie painted not only the classic image of Rhett Butler (Clark Gable) about to kiss Scarlet O'Hara (Vivien Leigh) but also Vivien Leigh's opening scene in the film as she's courted by the Tarleton Twins.
