Jimi Hendrix (1973)
Original Warner Bros. B&W Publicity Still – Jimi Hendrix Arriving in Denmark.
A fantastic original publicity photograph of Jimi Hendrix arriving in Denmark on a concert tour, cigarette in his mouth and guitar over his shoulder. Used to promote the Warner Bros. documentary Jimi Hendrix, the image captures Hendrix away from the stage and at the height of his extraordinary late-1960s career.
Released in 1973, the documentary brought together legendary performances from Monterey, Woodstock, the Isle of Wight and other concerts, alongside interviews with musicians including Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Pete Townshend and Little Richard. Hendrix remains one of the most influential guitarists and rock icons of the 20th century, making this a particularly appealing original image for music, rock and Hendrix collectors.
