Jungle Book, The (1967) - FRAMED

Original 1967 UK Front-of-House Card for The Jungle Book.

“Colonel Hathi’s March” the jungle’s elephant patrol raises its trunks in formation, with little Hathi Jr. and Mowgli joining the ranks. A wonderfully characterful scene capturing the military pomp and gentle comedy of Disney’s unforgettable elephant brigade.

Drawing on the British military caricature, Colonel Hathi turns jungle discipline into a gloriously comic routine. The Sherman Brothers’ marching song helped make the sequence a childhood favourite.

Framed with anti-UV glass.
