Roger Moore's James Bond, gun drawn, photographed through a pane of shattered glass. This was the new 007 being introduced to the world, in a black roll-neck and with a very different kind of cool to Sean Connery's.
Moore was 45 when he took the role, and producers reportedly asked him to lose weight and cut his hair first. He went on to play Bond in seven official films, more than any other actor.
