Capturing Rocky at his most determined pounding the heavy bag in Mickey’s gritty South Philly gym.

This example was actually used in a cinema, showing pinholes and handling wear from theatrical display. Provenance of exactly how these lobby cards lived in 1976, pinned up in foyers to sell tickets on opening week. 

Rocky became the ultimate underdog story, won Best Picture, and helped define 1970s American cinema. The training scenes especially with Mickey are some of the most quoted and beloved moments in sports-movie history.
