Scarface (1983) - FRAMED

An original 1983 Universal Pictures US Front-of-House Card, framed with UV-protective glazing.

Tony Montana, shirt bloodied and suit rumpled, stands before a painted sunset of palm trees as Manny (Steven Bauer) watches from the doorway. It's a moment from the film's spiralling final act, as Tony's paranoia turns him against the people closest to him.

Scarface went from controversial release to one of the most influential crime films ever made, and this sunset image of Tony in his blue suit is among its most recognisable. Front-of-House Cards, the 8 x 10 inch Mini Lobby Card sets, were displayed in cinema foyers on release and rarely kept afterwards.
