Scarface (1983)
Lobby Card (8 X 10 Inches)
£100.00
An original 1983 Universal Pictures US Front-of-House Card #2, unframed.
A close-up from Tony Montana's wedding: Elvira (Michelle Pfeiffer) in her veil, Tony in his cream tuxedo, and Manny (Steven Bauer) with an arm around his friend. Tony has taken his boss's empire and now his woman. It's the summit of everything he wanted since stepping off the boat from Cuba.
Which is exactly why it's such a loaded image: from here, the empire starts to rot. Front-of-House Cards, the 8 x 10 inch Mini Lobby Card sets, were displayed in cinema foyers on release and rarely kept afterwards. An affordable way to own a colour image from one of the film's key moments.
