Scarface (1983)

An original 1983 Universal Pictures British Quad, linen-backed.

"He was Tony Montana. The world will remember him by another name... SCARFACE." The British campaign added its own tagline to the famous split design, and it turned out to be prophetic. Brian De Palma's operatic gangster epic, written by Oliver Stone, went from controversial release to cultural landmark, and Al Pacino's Tony is still quoted, sampled and printed on T-shirts worldwide.

The landscape Quad was made for British cinema fronts, and its wide format gives the black-and-white design real drama on a wall. This copy has been professionally linen-backed, which flattens the original folds and preserves the paper for the long term. A ready-to-frame centrepiece for any 1980s or crime collection.
