Seven Year Itch, The (1955)

The most famous moment in The Seven Year Itch was first filmed in the middle of the night on Lexington Avenue in New York, where a crowd of onlookers gathered to watch Marilyn Monroe stand over the subway grating. The noise was so great that the scene was later reshot on a Hollywood soundstage, and Monroe's husband Joe DiMaggio, watching from the crowd, was reportedly furious.

This US Three Sheet was printed for the original 1955 release. Made up of several sections, the format was produced in much smaller numbers than the One Sheet, and its size gives the film's famous image the full scale it deserves. It has been linen-backed.
