The Godfather (1972)
Photo Still (8 X 10 Inches)
£795.00
Original 1972 Paramount Pictures black and white publicity still.
Featuring Marlon Brando in his legendary, Academy Award-winning role as Don Vito Corleone in The Godfather. The image captures him during the film's opening wedding sequence, dressed in formal evening wear and gently holding a cat that famously wandered onto the set.
Culturally, this iconic portrait defines Francis Ford Coppola’s masterpiece. The striking contrast between the mafia boss's imposing, ruthless power and his tender handling of the animal perfectly establishes the complex, dual nature of the Corleone patriarch.
