Original US National Screen Service Mini Lobby Card.
Marlon Brando and Salvatore Corsitto in their unforgettable roles from The Godfather. As the undertaker Bonasera, Corsitto opens the film with the iconic "I believe in America" monologue, delivered to Don Corleone, played masterfully by Brando. A true cinematic moment that set the tone for this legendary masterpiece. (The Whisper)
This quiet moment perfectly shows the hidden power of the Corleone family. You can see how calm and in control the Don is just from the way he listens in the shadows. It is a brilliant piece of film history from one of the most famous opening scenes ever made.
