The Godfather / Der Pate (1972)
Lobby Card (9.5 X 12 Inches)
£95.00
An original Paramount Pictures German Lobby Card, distributed by Cinema International Corporation, unframed.
Don Vito Corleone (Marlon Brando) stands in the funeral parlour, looking down at the body of his eldest son, Sonny (James Caan), ambushed and killed by a rival family. Vito calls in a favour from the undertaker Bonasera, asking him to use all his skill so Sonny's mother won't see what was done to him.
It's the moment the untouchable Don finally breaks, one of Brando's greatest scenes. Issued for the film's German Der Pate release, in an unusual upright format.
