Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of The Jedi (1983)

Return of the Jedi spent most of its production under other names. George Lucas's title was Revenge of the Jedi until he decided that a true Jedi would never seek revenge, and changed it shortly before release. On location the crew worked under a cover name, Blue Harvest, to keep curious fans and inflated prices at a distance.

This is the celebrated Lightsaber design, issued ahead of the painted Style B artwork as an advance-style release. A rare moment of restraint in a blockbuster campaign, it has become one of the most sought-after posters of the franchise and one of the defining designs of 1980s film advertising. This copy remains folded as issued.
